Terms and Conditions for Purchase
Please take a little time to read our Terms and Conditions for Purchase below. They are there to help you understand how we work, and assist you with trouble-free buying from Winehub Limited (Winehub). Please read them in conjunction with our Terms and Conditions for Use of the Website, which covers your use of the website. If you can not agree to these Terms and Conditions, we will not agree to supply you.

Please note that Winehub Limited may occasionally update its terms and conditions. By browsing our web website, you accept that you are bound by the current terms and conditions displayed on the website. We therefore suggest that you look at them during each visit to our website.

1. Age Restriction -- Under the UK Licensing Act, 1964, it is an offence for a young person under the age of 18 to buy or attempt to buy intoxicating drinks. In placing an order on the winehub.co.uk website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.
2. Prices -- The prices payable for the products, which you order are clearly shown on the website. If, by mistake, we have wrongly-priced an item, we will not be liable to supply that item to you at the stated price, provided that we notify you before we dispatch the item concerned.
3. Independent producers -- All participating vineyards whose products are offered on the Winehub website are independent producers. By making a purchase on the winehub.co.uk website, you are contracting with the participating vineyard and not Winehub Limited. The participating vineyards will therefore issue invoices and delivery notes. So if during one visit to the website, you purchase wines from two vineyards; Winehub treats these as separate orders with individual invoices but with a combined credit card payment.
Winehub Limited does not accept any responsibility for how participating vineyards complete their obligations to you. However, we are very keen that you receive a high quality service from both ourselves and our participating vineyards, so in case of a complaint or problem, please do contact us using the CONTACT US page on the website.
5. Minimum order -- Minimum order quantity for each wine or liqueur is shown on the website. Typically, these are one case or one half-case depending on the type of wine or one 50cl bottle in the case of liqueurs. A case is defined as twelve 75cl bottles. A half case is defined as six 75cl bottles.
6. Availability -- All products are subject to availability, whilst stocks last. Small and medium size vineyards by their very nature only produce limited quantities of their wines. Winehub's stock list is updated on a regular basis. However, in the unlikely event that any part of your order is no longer available, we will contact you by telephone or email to offer an alternative. If for any reason beyond our reasonable control, we are unable to supply a particular wine, we will notify you as soon as possible.
7. Acceptance -- Each item ordered shall be deemed to be a separate offer to purchase which will be accepted on the despatch to you of that item. Our acceptance of an order takes place on despatch of the order, at which point the purchase contract will be made between you and the participating vineyard(s) and you will be charged for your order. We may decline to supply the goods to you without giving any reason, and orders may not be transferred from the customer to any other person.
8. Payment -- Winehub's terms are cash with order. We accept payment only in GB sterling. We accept any Delta, Visa, JCB, Switch, MasterCard, Solo and Visa Electron credit cards and debit card payments. All payments are made using WorldPay's secure card payment transaction system. Your credit/debit card details will be encrypted to minimize the possibility of unauthorised access or disclosure. Authority for payment must be given at the time of order. You will not be charged until your order is despatched, so please ensure that the expiry date of your payment card is after the anticipated despatch date. In the event, that the payment card has expired by this date, we will be unable to take payment and hence fulfil your order. If your order is despatched in more than one delivery, payment for each wine will be taken from your credit/debit card at the point that that wine is despatched, and our acceptance of each part of the order takes place on despatch of that wine.
9. Claims -- Breakages and shortages must be notified to us using the CONTACT US page on the website within 24 hours of delivery.

If you have any queries please contact us using the CONTACT US page on the website.

A signature by an adult aged 18 years or over is required to accept the delivery. If no one of that age is at the address when the delivery is attempted the goods may be retained by the driver, in which case the driver will leave notification of attempted delivery and will telephone to rearrange or will return later that day. If you have not received your order within 7 working days of ordering, please contact us using the CONTACT US page on the website, giving them your order number.

The cost of post and packing is £9.31 excluding VAT for each still half-case (6 bottles), £10.41 excluding VAT for each sparkling half-case (6 bottles) and £16.98 excluding VAT for each still case (12 bottles). For single bottles, for example liqueurs, the cost is of post and packing is £4.92 excluding VAT. These prices cover our normal mainland UK deliveries only. Where several bottles or cases are ordered from the same vineyard, we can offer a discount on our normal post and packaging costs, as consignments can be combined. In this case, you will be notified in your order confirmation of the discounted costs and a refund for the difference will be authorized via your card transaction when the goods are despatched.

As soon as we receive the returned goods, we will refund the relevant part of the price for that item.

Cancellation
Also, under the United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel the contract for your purchase within a period of 7 working days, beginning with the day after the day on which the item is delivered. However, we regret that we cannot accept cancellations of contracts for purchases where the bottle(s) has been opened.

To cancel this contract, please contact us using the CONTACT US page on the website, giving the reason for the return as "Cancellation". Please package the relevant item carefully and send it back to the vineyard so that they receive it within 7 working days of the date that the item was delivered to you. Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the goods to us unless they were delivered to you in error or the item is faulty. If you do not return the goods within 21 days of your cancellation, we will make a charge in respect of the cost of recovering the goods. If you do not return the goods or fail to make them available for collection within 30 days of your notice of cancellation, you will be deemed to have accepted the goods, at which point a new purchase contract will be made and you will be charged for your order at the price set out on the web site.

As soon as we receive notice of your cancellation of this order, we will refund the relevant part of the purchase price for that item.

Please note that wine bought on the winehub.co.uk website must be returned direct back to the vineyard and not to Winehub.
