Bardfield Oxlip half-case contains:
2 bottles of Bardfield Oaked 2004 - Carefully matured in oak casks, this dry wine has a delightful colour and fruity aroma which makes it the ideal companion to chicken and apple pie,
2 bottles of Bardfield Anne of Cleves 2004 - A wine with a full and fruity aroma suggesting fresh ripe fruits with floral scented tones, and
2 bottles of Bardfield Bacchus 2005 - A wine suggesting fresh ripe fruits with floral scented tones.

Oxlip (Primula elatior) is a native wildflower which looks very similar to the cowslip but has much paler yellow flowers. It is found in woodlands across Essex, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Huntingdonshire and East Anglia. This is the flower depicted at the top of the Bardfield Vineyard crest.

Shepherd's Needle half-case selection covers three of the four still white wines produced by Chilford Hall and contains:
2 bottles of Chilford Hundred Dry 2004 - Yellow in colour with the faintest green hue, this dry wine has a clean and toasty finish, hints of melon, lychee and grapefruit on the nose. A fresh grapefruit zest and almost grassy palate with yeasty tones awaits you. Highly recommended with shellfood and seafood but equally fine with white meat and poultry.
2 bottles of Chilford Hundred Medium Dry - A pale, greeny yellow colour with a herb and yeast nose. You will find that this develops into an unusual slight burnt sugar with strong hints of red apples. The fresh fruit flavours give a rounded yet crisp palate, making it smooth and clean tasting. Recommended as a drinking wine, and

Shepherd's Needle (Scandix pecten-veneris) is a wildflower which has a small white star-like flower. Historically, it was widespread on arable land but over the last 50 years, it has declined drastically and is now found only in southern and eastern England.

Columbine half-case is the premier selection from Carter's Vineyards. It contains:
3 bottles of Bacchus 2005 - Carter's premier Dry White Wine made only from the first juice to leave the press. This gives wonderful fruit flavours to the wine and the aroma or elderflowers and lemons, and
3 bottles of King Coel 2006 - Four grape varieties are made into wine separately and then blended to achieve all the characteristics of this red wine, ie. Pinot Noir, Dornfelder, Rondo and Dunkelfelder. It is only produced in the best years. It is a great accompaniment to red meat.

Columbine (Aquilegia vulgaris) is a native wildflower found on shady slopes and in woodland. It has clover like leaves and purplish blue flowers with distinct 'spurs'.

Cornflower half-case selection covers the dry still white wine plus the pink sparkling wine produced by Chilford Hall. It contains:

Cornflower (Centaurea cyanus) is an annual plant with a mid-blue flower. It used to be widesperead throughout the UK in arable fields. Now only isolated plants can be found in the South and East of England and in Wales. Persistent populations only exist at one site in Suffolk, one site on the Isle of Wight and one in Lincolnshire.

White Campion (Lychnis alba) is a native wildflower which has slender leaves and a delicate daisy like white flower. It is now quite common as a garden flower especially in white borders.

2 bottles of Noah's First 2006 - HIGHLY COMMENDED - East Anglian Winegrowers' Association Wine of the Year Competition 2007. A delicate dry white wine made exclusively from late harvest Pinot Gris (aka "Pinot Grigio") grapes; gentle floral notes and a hint of nutmeg on the nose, spiced honey and candied fruits on the palate with a satisfyingly crisp finish; perfect with fish, cold cuts and hors d'oeuvres or just by itself as a chilled summer aperitif!
2 bottles of Wissett Dry 2006 - SILVER MEDAL - East Anglian Winegrowers' Association Wine of the Year Competition 2007. A crisp dry white wine made from a blend of Auxerrois and Pinot Gris grapes; hint of apples and vanilla on the nose, apricot, honey and citrus fruits on the palate with a long smooth finish; perfect with seafood, trout and summer salads. A classic off-dry rosé wine made from a blend of Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grapes; fresh English strawberries on the nose and summer berry fruits on the palate typical of the varieties; good with lamb, duck, shellfish, charcuterie and Suffolk cheese, but perfect just by itself! Serve slightly chilled.

Field Scabious (Knautia arvensis) is a tall perennial plant with pale bluey pink 'pinchusion' flowers. The flowers are very attractive to bees and butterflies. It grows in dry, grassy areas often where soils are chalky.
